this is really good work you have here, i don't think there are that many artists like yourself who bother with the Russian war in Afghanistan, let alone capture it with such accuracy.
there are one or two issues though. the girl one the left is wearing a KZS if i'm not mistaken, so it shouldn't have any pockets. secondly unless they're all officers, (which is still highly probable, i mean they could be a command squad or something) their cap badges should just be plain red stars.

Ah yep, as Joe says, the shading on the face could use some tweaks. 
Mostly about basic "face planes" (Don't misunderstand that term for something stupid, I know you well enough for this >_>), these are mostly zones such as under the nose, the lower lip and the brow ridges. Depending on the direction of your light source, these zones usually cast a shadow and having them at the right spots will give faces a more realistic/3D look to them.
Besides that tiny part, the rest looks amazing. @.@
