Absolutely beautiful. I haven't done any CSS, so I'm not sure how much critique I can offer, but I do like it very much.
My only recommendation might be to do something with the sides near the bottom, as they're a bit plain right now. You wouldn't need too much, though. It really looks lovely as is.
(I just got a subscription, and I think I'll use this for my journal!)
