Art Trade with PPG2009

After I won her contest for her fanfiction A Villain's Day Carol, she asked me to draw her a picture from her Frozen cast meme . So, I thought it would be fun to draw it out. This is actually the fourth time I drew something crossover/Frozen related. and in chronological order no less. XD

So for her Frozen cast meme, she had Glimmer as Elsa. Personally, I was a little unsure of the choice, but considering that Elsa had a big responsibility as queen and she had lost her parents three years prior and then there's her ice powers to worry about. She also is a little more levelheaded than Anna, but she still is stubborn and her PTSD resolving with the accident with her sister is what prompts her to not open up to others. Glimmer on the other hand is stubborn, makes rash decisions and such and she also has to deal with her own powers, but she does grow as a character and learns to listen to others. (Personally, I see Glimmer more as Merida).

So, while I was working on this trade, I decided to draw out the infamous Let it Go sequence, but I didn't know which part to do, so I decided to do the beginning verse where Elsa tosses her other glove and unleashes her power(creating Olaf in the process).

With this I wanted to make this authentic as possible. For starters, with Glimmer's powers, I colored them purple based on her theme colors. I also really liked drawing out her coronation outfit which I used to combine elements of the actual movie and the queen outfit Glimmer wore in Seasons 4-5.
