Contest Entry for MorganTheMediaQueen

I swear to God, this will be my last contest for 2022, however, I decided to make a challenge.

So, MorganTheMediaQueen was doing a recast contest and I was having trobule picking out a few ones this time round. THis time, I chose to do one inspired from THe Emperor's New Groove which is one of muy favorite Disney mmovies fro the early 2000s.

While more on the veins of Looney Tunes in terms of comedy, this movie is a cult classic for a reason: it has three dimentional characters with our main lead getting really great character developmment, a really amazing villian and lovable henchman, and the comedy...it's just unforgettable. And all the jokes work.

One of them in particular happens when Kuzco, turned into a llama by his ex-advisor Yzma, is lost in the jungle and after being rescued by Pacha, the peasant whose home he was going to destroy to build Kuzcotopia, only for them to be tied up

And then this part happens:

Kuzco: (deadpan): Don't tell me. We're about to go over a huge waterfall.
Pacha: (deadpan): Yup
Kuzco: Sharp rocks at the bottom?
Pacha: Most likely
(beat)
Kuzco: Bring it on.
(Cue them going down the waterfall)
Kuzco(as they go down): BOO-YAAAAAAAHHAAHAH! WHOO-HOOO!

That is one of the best iconic moments in the movie so I HAD to draw it out.

For her cast she had Steve(Stranger Things as human Kuzco and Cuphead(The Cuphead Show) as Llama Kuzco and Moxxie is Pacha.

So, for this, I had to redraw the two major bits with Kuzco and Pacha, then changed the expressions on Cuphead and then for teh waterfall, that was so fun to do. Especially with the tiny log and everything.
