God damn it! Another cartoon I haven't watched in forever is now on Youtube and I might have something to binge again.

Whatever Happened to Robot Jones was a show that used to air on Cartoon Network when I was a little girl. It was only a short lived show, but it was still like a nostalgia trip. It's animation reminds me a lot of Schoolhouse Rock. Oh, and before you ask which voice was better, I like Bobby Block's voice because not only does it make Robot a little more cuter and precocious, but it adds a little more layer to his innocence.

Set in the 1980s, Robot Jones goes to school to learn about human customs. He meets three kids named Socks, Mitch and Cubey and develops a crush on a girl with braces and a prosthetic leg named Shannon. During the course of Robot's adventures, the is hounded by then Yogman twins who hope to steal his brain, Principal Madman who runs the school with an iron fist and hates robots.

Greg Miller actually came up with an cruel ending to the show which would've happened if it weren't cancelled: Basically Robot goes on full Carrie White and destroys the school and all of humanity with a robot army after all the bullying that happened to him.

Needless to say, it would've been a really terrible ending and it would've contradicted with the fact that he has human friends in the form of Socks, Cubey and Mitch(and sometimes Shannon when she's not being an Olive Oyll type bitch to him).

However, in MorganTheMovieFan95 's AU(which I like/partually share with), Robot does succeed in getting the school, but in some humanity, spares his friends and Shannon before being destroyed by Yogman twins and his parents were destroyed in the thing. 30 years later, Double D finds him and reprograms him to be more efficient and smarter, while retaining some of his old memories. He also is adopted into the MnM family.

Although the contest was cancelled, I still wanted to post this up because I just see a lot of similarities between Robot and Carrie.

I decided to draw Robot having gotten out to the school dance with Shannon before getting pranked by the Yogman twins by having them dump oil all over him(like how in Carrie, it was with pig's blood) before he is laughed at by the other kids including the principal(except for Socks, Mitch, Cubey and Shannon). This is where Robot goes on his rampage.
