Description An unstable, bipedal monster with an ever-shifting face. It has no mouth of its own and its legs have trouble holding up its tumorous bulk. To compensate, it attacks the spinal cord of bipedal vertebrates and takes control of their nervous systems, re-purposing them as a front pair of legs and forming a crude quadruped. While it has complete control over the host's legs, the Spine Raptor has difficulty commanding areas closest to the brain, and often absorbs the arms of its victim to prevent possible retaliation. Upon full integration, the host still has control over its eyes and much of its body above the chest, but the Spine Raptor is able to see through its hosts eyes and digest what its host digests. Separation is still possible at this point, but requires intensive surgery or both parties will die.

To prevent unnecessary weight shifting, Spine Raptors may develop one or more slender appendages to "steady" their host. In a pinch, these can also be used as offensive weapons.
