Description
[experimental style]These maggoty monsters have no eyes, but can navigate terrain with ease. However, they naturally prefer darkness for the sole reason that much of their prey is hindered. They prowl the deepest depths, moving silently but surely in the direction of any intruding prey. Fire does not scare them, only briefly surprise them.
A few larger variations of the species have been discovered sealed away in oddly anachronistic dungeons. Among the surreal technobabble and cryptic messages inscribed within these infested layers are urgent references to "Type 28". Evidence suggests the dominant wormlike creatures are indeed the "Type 28"s, but if so, what type, and where are the others?
Type 28 like to hide in groups and strike the unwary with their claws, often aiming for what they estimate to be lethal areas. Though they prefer to kill their prey with their sickles, they are extremely protective of their young, and an excessively agitated specimen may use its muscular mouth to simply shear a foe in two,
