Description
The screamer looks relatively harmless, but such an assumption could cost you your life; on its own it is one of the most dangerous zombies known to man. the screamers eyes have become little more than wrinkles on its face and its nose and teeth have also fallen off, however, it posesses amazing sensitivity and poor but still functioning hearing. When it notices a human (by either vibrations, movement, or heat) it lets out an extremely loud scream that alerts all zombies in a 5 mile radius that prey is here. Not only will the scream invite zombies to your location, it can even be fatal if heard long enough; the vibrations and high frequency can cause a human head to explode. There are two options for dealing with this, both have consequences.

1: you can run away really fast, this usually wont work for two reasons. 1 because the zombies in that area will figure out your gone when the screamer stops screaming and they see you in another area. and 2 It is also very hard to run with a bloodcurdling scream right next to you.

2: you can kill the screamer. If you suceed then depending on how far the zombies are when you kill it you may be left in peace. the problem is killing it though; it doesnt have claws for nothing and cutting off an arm or body part only makes it scream louder. decapitation is the ONLY answer.

The screamer can run relatively fast but never does due to the fact that it cannot see its surroundings and while it possesses extreme sensitivity, this by no means implies that it has echolocation.
