Remember kids: before you start this tutorial, put on your iPod to HIM and dance around in your pajamas.
I dunno, I felt like drawing a tutorial on how I draw my cartoons. People said they'd be interested, so.... that's all I got. I'm sorry if this isn't thorough enough, it's my first tutorial so I wasn't sure how thorough to be. I tried.
Also, I forgot to mention if you want you can give the females eyelashes. I do it occasionally, only if you want the girl to look more feminine. Personally I like them all to look the same, gender is for squares.
So, if you like it, I'm glad, if you hate it, I'm sorry, and if you're indifferent about it, go to the nearest supermarket and purchase 10 coconuts. Proceed to throw them at elderly women's heads until a strange man in a trench coat approaches you. He will ask you, "Go fish?" and you will reply "Not until the banana jumps the flower bed on whole wheat." He will then hold out his hand and there will be a jellybean. Then you must spit on it, it will turn into a peanut. If you break the peanut in half, it will cause the sun to explode, killing us all.

um*pokes index finger together* I errr am having trouble drawing a hand shape for a picture I am drawing [link] ... I can't seem to draw Ash's hand that's holding the bubble gum in this style could you help me please?... and I er um am making a cartoon in this style of drawing called Sleeping in on Wednesday Nights, could you give me any advice on making comics for a newbie such as myself?... Well, whenever I have troubles with hand positions I always use my own hand as a reference. Having something to reference from that close to you is very useful when you're still getting into anatomy and such. I would say the hand is doing something like this though, if this helps. 
I can't say I have any advice except stick with it. I know there are a lot of times I'd like to quit making comics because it is quite time consuming, but it's all worth it in the end. If you have any questions as you make the comics there are tons of tutorials on deviantART that you can get help from.

That's not that bad! My lines are never as clean as I want them to be, I have such an unsteady hand when I'm outlining. Especially for the eyes, I always screw them up. You should colour him. He'll be even better and more unsure that way.

Are the eyes the right size? Sometimes when they're too big or small it makes it look weird.
