Anybody else think this is where Somber should have closed off the story? (Not this chapter mind you, but this location).
Blackjack doesn't know it at the time, but that skeleton is family. It would have been the perfect place to finish off such an epic.
Imagine: Following the events of the Hoof, Blackjack disappears and finds her way back here, where she first really met Watcher, again meeting him here. He asks "was it worth it" and she replies "no, but what other choice was there", or something along those lines.
