I got around to make a sequel to [link] on popular demand.
it was fun though, to just my imagination loose on what the next How to train your dragon movie might look like. I imagined it would be winter, since it obviously snows a lot in Berk (in north generally)
I might have gone a bit overboard on the colors, but I like it that way, I kinda imagined that it would be a colorful 2D movie.
if you want, here is a fun thing you can do, write a comment on what you think the storyline is

Of course I wanted to be amazed that Hiccup has a goatee. But i shall instead marvel at the upper right panel, with Hiccup flying on Toothless, which is FREAKING beautiful. *cultured applause*

And yes... it is amazing. Toothless's death is the best of the best. Maybe only kisses are better then blood on the snow and crying Hiccup.

1: I think it's more like A year has passed and Hiccup's father is giving a toast to the pack made by human's & Dragon's.
2: hiccup & toothless go for a ride, were they truly are one.
3: the two pals play in the snow, till they hear a weird noise in the dark wood below. after looking about for 3 hours they desided to go home. toothless scares hiccup.
[SKIP!!!]
8: "Hiccup! WAIT!" yelled the blonde viking, grabbing here boyfriend's arm.
"No!!!! Let me go i have to find Toothless!
He's just my friend.....he my brother & other half.
9: Hiccup hugs his bleeding friend.
As he held him, Hiccup sand a song in Dragonese, taught by toothless for Hiccup can speak the toung of Dragon.
Only Toothless awoke to corrected him
& finally.....[drum roll]
10: Now 21 and Cheaf in training Hiccup hugs his friend and whispered "....I love you.....Toothless."
"M-m-me t-t-too H-h-h-hiccup."

Ok so here's a possibility
4 months after the defeat of the red/green death, winter has arrived. Stoick announces that Hiccup will soon take over as leader of the villiage. Hiccup needs some time to think about this responsibility that is going to be placed upon him, so he takes Toothless and flies to their secret hideaway (which is a fair distance from Berk). However before they can get to their hideaway, a huge blizzard comes out of nowhere and Hiccup and Toothless are forced to take shelter in a mountainside cavern to wait out the blizzard.
Three days later the blizzard has gone, Astrid notices that Hiccup and Toothless are missing. Assuming that something has happened to them, she forms a small search party to go out looking for them. The search party quickly becomes lost as they venture forth in the direction that Astrid has seen Toothless and Hiccup fly in the past, into unfamiliar territory. The youngest of the group (Fishlegs) becomes nervous and as a result, starts listing off things that they could possibly encounter in the more Northern territories, wild dragons like the Whispering Death, Skrill, and Timberjack were said to inhabit these lands. This put's the rest of the group on edge, because of this the group refuses to go any farther. Astrid decides to relieve some of the tension by starting a friendly snowball fight, which calms everyone down enough have them continue traveling with her.
Meanwhile Toothless and Hiccup have moved deeper into the cavern to investigate some strange sounds they heard the past few nights, instead of finding a creature of some sort at the end of the cavern, they find an exit which leads them to a large valley nestled deep in the mountains. Instead of going back to the cave, Hiccup decides they should move through the valley to see if they could find the source of the noises they had heard. Suddenly the two are startled by a loud ROAR coming from behind them. They turn around to find themselves face to face with a gigantic Whispering Death. Toothless steps in front of Hiccup in order to protect him, and motions for him to get away. Hiccup begins to run to the side of the valley near the cave mouth, where he hears Astrid yelling for him to get inside the cavern, he runs to the cave opening and goes inside to join his friends (giving Astrid a big hug) They are startled again by an ear-shattering ROAR coming from the Whispering Death, which triggers an avalanche that quickly covers the mouth of the cave with tonnes of snow, trapping Hiccup and his friends inside. They can still hear the sounds of the Whispering Deaths ROAR's through the snow covered cave entrance, then a different sound is heard, the sound of a Night Fury screeching in pain. Hiccup desperately begins digging through the snow blocking his exit, so he can go to Toothless' aid, but he hits a patch that is too packed to dig through. He tries kicking and punching through the packed snow but it is all in vain. Astrid steps over to Hiccup and tries to comfort him by telling him that Toothless is probably fine, but being told wasn't good enough for Hiccup... he had to see for himself. Thinking quickly, he yells to the others to have their dragons (also trapped in the cave with them) to all blow their fires against the snow wall at the same time. The dragons begin spewing flames against the thick snow wall, while their humans take cover behind some rocks to avoid the blazing heat. Minutes pass when the dragons stop blowing fire, and reveal the the exit from the cave was now clear, but another blizzard has started as they all step cautiously from the cave exit. Hiccup begins yelling "TOOTHLESS... TOOTHLESS!!!!"....... No response. He runs toward the center of the valley shouting over and over again, "TOOTHLESS!!!! TOOTHLE..." Hiccup trips over something in the snow, he turns and see's a piece of red cloth half buried, it was a piece of Toothless' makeshift tail flap. He looks forward to see a large dark figure lying down ahead of them, motionless, and surrounded by bloodstained snow. "Toothless..." Hiccup runs over to his fallen friend and wraps his arms around him, he feels no heartbeat, and no breathing... he bursts into tears. He lays there holding onto Toothless for one minute, five minutes, thirty minutes, nothing... He lets go and hides his face in his hands sobbing. His friends watch from behind, saddened by what they are seeing. Hiccup takes his hands from his face and stares at Toothless, as if something is going to happen, but nothing does. He sits there staring for another twenty minutes, not believing what he was looking at. Hiccup hugs Toothless again, tears frozen to his face, "Toothless please... don't leave me" he says between sobs. Hiccup holds on tightly, not prepared to let go, when suddenly he feels a deep thump, and another, and another, a heartbeat! Hiccup's eyes widen as he looks at Toothless, still motionless for a few moments, then Toothless' eye's shoot open and he takes a deep breath. "Toothless!! He's alive!!!" His friends begin cheering as Hiccup is greeted by a big, wet lick to the face. Now filled with tears of joy, Hiccup hugs Toothless again, this time receiving a low "purrrrr" in response.
--------- One Year Later
Hiccups father Stoick had passed away last month, leaving Hiccup in charge of the town of Berk, a responsibility that he adapted quickly to, alongside his faithful dragon, Toothless.
Hiccup and Toothless still go to the cove every once and awhile, where they remember the beginning of their Forbidden Friendship, and the trials leading up to the peaceful living of dragons and vikings together in a society. They will cherish every moment they spend together, because they know that the bond they share is special, and can never be replaced.

ya they are actually going to have three movies in total (but they are referring to them as chapters) and the next one comes out in 2014 (if you didn't already know)
they are also going to have a tv show which airs sometime in 2012.
I can't wait to see where they go with the story, and i hope that they bring back John Powell to do the soundtrack, because the first movies soundtrack was amazing. (oh, and they better not kill off Toothless)
