I got around to make a sequel to [link] on popular demand.
it was fun though, to just my imagination loose on what the next How to train your dragon movie might look like. I imagined it would be winter, since it obviously snows a lot in Berk (in north generally)
I might have gone a bit overboard on the colors, but I like it that way, I kinda imagined that it would be a colorful 2D movie.
if you want, here is a fun thing you can do, write a comment on what you think the storyline is

No, when Hiccup was reading the "Extremely dangerous, kill on sight" book. It mentioned the dragon seen in the art, the Thunderdrome.
I'm just geeky and could probably recite that scene word for word.

actually, the book was How to Train Your Dragon. The movie was based on the book by Ceressida Cowell, so they made that the book he was reading. They're good books, you should check 'em out!

As much as it pains me to say this, to see a near-death scene involving Toothless would be so bitterly wonderful. Hiccup like shaking him, trying to get him to stand, but he's too hurt and barely responds. *sniff* Oh gosh, I'm getting all weepy just thinking about it...

If the sequel looks anything like this, then I have no fear (considering how Dreamworks tends to take sequels in...terrible directions. Shrek the Third killed my soul a little).
Your drawings are lovely, and are really interesting. Hiccup looks wonderful in his winter clothes - and I love panels 4, 6, and 9 (4 because it's hilarious, and 6 and 9 are really thought provoking. Want to know what's going onnnn!).
Also, 2 and 3 are beautiful and 7 has such energy! I could probably geek out about this all day. :3

*ponders* Lessee what I can come up with here...
Here's what I think the plot is in a nutshell: Another group of dragons watched as the dragons that used to attack Berk allowed themselves to be tamed. Resenting them for it, the new group of dragons begins to lay seige to Berk and it's inhabitents. As such, the villiage splits up to find this nest of dragons and eliminate the threat. (It seems the kids ended up in their own seperate group...)
... Now I kinda wanna go write that story...

I'm imagining this as Hiccup going out on his own with Toothless..becoming a real warrior and then returning home.

I got a storyline
Hiccup and his dad are at a dinner in which his father applauds hiccup on how well he has done, and then Snotlout and Fishlegs go into the woods because they heard about this dragon (whispering death or something close to it C: ). Hiccup then goes and searches for them and Astrid and the twins follow. It starts to get dark and hiccup decides to stay the night, and then he finds out that everyone is separated. Snotlout and fishlegs are out alone in the woods and Snotlout tries to read the map he took away from fishlegs, and fishlegs is worried because he doesn't recognize the area. Dawn comes and the twins find each other and have a snowball fight and they set off to find the others.
Hiccup wakes up to a roar and he tries to be nice to the "different" dragon. But the different dragon isn't nice and he whips hiccup in the arm, and toothless isn't happy about it. They then get into a fight while all hiccup can do is watch them fight, toothless wins as the other dragon runs away. Astrid hears toothless and the other dragon and runs towards then and then she finds hiccup. toothless is badly hurt and hiccup is devastated and while Astrid goes off to find the others for help. She then find the twins with Snotlout and Fishlegs, and they head off to help hiccup.
Hiccup is with toothless as they see Astrid and the others coming, and then other villagers find them.
They all know about the other dragon, and know that he is still out there.
