GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, MONTANA

The world can be so overwhelming at times. On any given day I could be in China rescuing hostages and the next fighting a B.O.W in the middle of the Mediterranean. Today however isn't one of those days. On this particular day, the captain and I are hiking at this national park in Montana. My problems narrowing down to only trees, shrubs and great ascents.

While trekking through the mountain range I felt a wave of tranquility stop me in my tracks. It was as if the Earth was brought to a stop. The grass a bit greener, the sky a little bluer- time caught in this rare moment on our crazy world. Quiet is a necessity in life, and I think this place really captures the essence of it. If only I could live in this moment away from the chaos brewing beyond the peaks of these mountains.

It's been a journey, literally and metaphorically. So much has happened in such little time and admittedly it can be a bit much. However, something always motivates me to continue. Something that gets my gears moving with the same passion it did when I first started. I know better than to give up. I could be in China rescuing hostages or fighting a B.O.W in the middle of the Mediterranean, but with Chris this wild ride only gets better.
