And here's the colored version. Recent world troubles delayed this longer than it shouldve taken, but I'm also figuring out exactly how Ill want to be making backgrounds for this. Funny enough figuring out how to draw and color Mystique was the far easier part. I'm really more of a character artist, but since I'm one guy trying to replicate the entire look of a show, i'll need to find a lot of shortcuts. I know the animators used PLENTY even with backgrounds, like reusing certain shots.Related content

Thanks, I do try really damn hard to keep them feeling like themselves and of course drawing them and their setting accurately, so that really means a LOT. I could always use feedback from people who know the characters or are invested in them to see what they think. Everyone usually builds some different idea of who they are in their head, despite it all comes from the same source. So finding a way to make new content that FEELS right is pretty challenging.
