Working on this chapter has given me chills. Specifically, when I was working on page five and I first realized what was happening.

Because this chapter is the culmination of this three-chapter arc. The 'divisible by five' pages of this chapter are the conclusions to these little stories, and I've been waiting to work on them for quite some time. For something like 21 months, actually; I started working on the first page of the prologue on the first of November, 2019.

Counting that prologue, and ignoring the fact that I made a few double-page spreads, this is the 79th page. Which is kind of astonishing now that I actually think about it. I've never done anything this big in terms of drawing before. I've actually written several (unpublished) novels, but this still feels like I put more into it. Which is probably because I love writing and it comes easily, which I'm not great at drawing and it takes actual effort.

It's always an amazing feeling to be working on a project like this and get to a big part of the story after thinking about it for so long. It's really exciting to be at this point, and I'm really looking forward to what's coming. Thank you all for reading this so far.

And now I need to go make the cover for the next chapter, because I completely forgot I should have been posting that today.
