No, it's not supposed to be there.
Unlike the statues which were totally supposed to be in the middle of the hallway.

Hereβs the difference between Starlight and characters like the Villain Trio:
Empathy.
At the end of the day she not only expressed regret for her actions, but understood the ramifications and at the very least made attempts to better herself in the long run. Say what you want about Starlightβs quick redemption, at least she worked to earn it through various episodes, earned it in the end, and actually showed empathy for others and genuine guilt when she realized just how badly her actions would screw over Equestria.
As for the characters who stayed exactly the same way they were despite being given chances to change their ways? Thatβs nobodyβs fault but their own.

Basically, you completely ignored my points, cherry picked what you wanted from the show, bent them 180 degrees to your liking and used "it's my opinion, and it's right and it's the my-est" Monopoly card. You go with a rant about "fan's enjoying the finale", whatever that means, since the last time I checked the number of stuff directly connected with rewriting the ending from various content creators, kept growing. After 5 months from the finale airing. By the way, if you love Haberverse so much, then why are you even here? To complain? Oh, the irony.
By the way, I don't remember Lauren Faust, M.A.Larson or any person from the non-Haber crew to be forced to disable their Twitter account, because angry parents and fans flooded them with comments regarding the show. Poor Jim didn't have that much luck, oops.
At this point it's your "I am right!" versus "it was bad, because [a list of reasons here]". Pointless for me to continue it, since it's just wasting my time.Β
By the way, you don't have to block me to have "the last word" in the conversation. That's silly and can by easily bypassed.

Never, because Twilight talked Starlight down instead.
Chrysalis was shown that there was a better way for her kind to thrive and she rejected it for selfish reasons.
Tirek refused to hear his brother out when he begged him not the Rob ponies of their magic.
Cozy was treated with friendship and kindness yet still betrayed them.
So stop using an excuse of complaining about the writers. You address the character as characters or don't complain at all.
And as for your little statement about other fans, you have no right to judge their mentality just because YOU hated the final seasons. The belief that only "thinking, feeling people" hate it is BULLSHIT. Fan's like it because it was enjoyable, despite the few flaws it had, so get off your high horse and stop pretending you speak for the fans.
Being part of a fandom is also being able to aknowledge flaws exist while not pretending that said flaws are the only aspect of the series that should be acknowledged. Otherwise you end up with toxic fans, and your little speech has proven you to be one of those toxic fans.
And FYI? Twilight meant that Starlight had potential to do good is nudged in the right direction. So Cozy was wrong, if she was right then she wouldn't be a statue now would she?

I have to say I love that last panel: a tear in the corner of her eye, that weak "no", dropped ears, closed eyes. All these show Twilight knows well what comes next, but wish it wouldn't. All those little things hint at so many emotions. That's a good panel to end page on.

1. She's a fictional character.
2. She's been shown in the show to be a manipulative, abusive, power-hungry sociopath. We have not seen any more of her backstory from when she was introduced, to the moment of her final punishment, she has never been shown to have ANY redeeming traits whatsoever, and unless she gets more characterization in a backstory in some kind of media that is canon to the show, that is how she is as a character, and that is how she will remain.
Your defense of her actions on a random forum on the Internet just because she is a kid looks silly and over-the-top at best, and downright obsessive, asinine, and stupid at worst.
I repeat, she is a FICTIONAL character. And EVEN if she wasn't, unless you find out for yourself the truth behind her actions, you can't assume that she is any different than what she presents herself to be.
Especially when, IN CANON, she threatened the lives of EVERY LIVING THING in not just Equestria, but the entire world of MLP with her actions, and has NOT ONCE looked or acted like she has ANY remorse about it. There is NO logical reason to feel sorry for her AT ALL.
Please, stop acting like a fool about a fictional character's fate. Everybody thinks you're a clown when you keep posting comments like this.

...what?
Who...who do you think you are to think you have "people" that care for her? What is the size of your ego to imply that someone like YOU has "people" that agree with your delusions?
What exactly would make you think I would be "jealous with envy" over a fictional character?
What the hell are you smoking?
What kind of a fantasy world do you think you live in?
Your comments only make sense if I think that you are a person with delusions of grandeur, who for some personal, real-life reason chooses to ALMOST FULLY (about 90% is my hypothesis) escape into "your own world", where delusions like yours make you think it is okay to act like you do.
If you are just trolling, then the joke is not funny.
If you are not, and you ACTUALLY act like this in real life, then it is a lot worse. I can imagine you being on your way to becoming another "Chris-chan", but for the MLP community. And that mindset will only ruin your life.
Prove to me that you are just some troll on the Internet making a joke and taking it a bit too far. Prove me wrong in thinking that you will soon need mental help if you keep acting this way.

Artists are people, too. And people have personal lives, private matters to attend to. They don't have an obligation to dance to anyone's tune unless they're getting paid.
And even then, there are limits to what a person would do for money. Everybody has limits. Nobody likes unreasonable demands, especially when someone arrogant and selfish, with a big enough ego, is the one making said demands.
Be patient. The pages will be done when they are done. And if they are not, it's also okay. Since this comic is one of millions on the Internet. There have been so many unfinished stories just left floating around on the Internet, that it has, unfortunately, become commonplace.
Some artists will finish their stories eventually, some will abandon them for some reason. The reasons might be logical and understandable, or they might turn out to be just lazy. We, the readers, won't know unless we have evidence to prove it. And even if we did, it is still their choice what to do with their work. We might think they act like lazy assholes when they abandon a story in the middle of a long run, but that's just what we think.
It probably won't affect the artist at all what we do "in (very stupid, and pointless) retaliation", unless we send them death threats or something.
By that point, the person or people doing said moronic things should either be in prison, or in a mental institution.
