Description
I made this. It's a PC-case made out of wood.Note the gray area at the bottom? That's where my two SNES controllers go! Yes it has custom built LPT->SNES adapter, wiring goes through the case.

Thanks! The air intake is in the bottom and it exits from the back. The picture doesn't show the 'legs'. It's possible to fit a watercooling in it (it was one of the main reasons for the case, but I never did the watercooling thing ).

Wow! That's amazing. Why did you make the custom case, by the way? Is it meant to suit a desk or ..?

Well the original box was a beige-plastic case, ugly as hell. And then I got some wood materials so why not? I do like modding! Now the case fits any room much better.
My next planned project is to make a metallic keyboard. Sheet metal (Al, Cu or Brass) tends to be much more expensive than wood, but it's easier to work detail with metal.

You mean like Apple's aluminum keyboard?

It seems that the keys on that one are plastic. My idea is to make it so that there are no visible plastic parts. And mine will probably be quite a bit larger, but I suppose that the general theme will be similar.

Yes, the keys are plastic indeed. So you want to make the keys out of aluminum as well? Seems pretty damn impressive to me!
I'd love to see the result!
