Greetings, precious Sinners!
'The Next Reaper' is taking a short break! We'll be back again on April 4th!
The first book of The Next Reaper has reached its end! Damn, it feels really cool to have completed this milestone. This is where the work on the second book begins!
So what are the things Jmp and I will focus on during our short break? Let's take a look at our to-do list!
The new pages will be prepared in time so we don't end up finishing every page on the same day as we're releasing them
(which we've been doing since we started this comic RIP)
An official merch shop for 'The Next Reaper' will be ready for when book 2 begins!
M E E K P L U S H I E S !!
New masks will be designed and crafted and an Etsy shop for selling them will be opened!
A YouTube channel which will include various content such as animated stories, gaming videos, soundtracks, tutorials, Q&As, vlogs etc will be in the making!
*whispers* Oh my... looks like our "break" might not be so much of a break after all...

"Death in the world of The Next Reaper is not nice, and there's no life left. God has grown tired of our shit, and turned their metaphysical back on humanity. Saint Peter is under orders of not letting anyone into heaven, and the Devil is pretty pissed at the big man upstairs, and refuses to let in any more souls himself. The embodiment of life has gone of the deep end, and Death is the only one still doing his job, though having to reap the frankly ludicrous amount of souls that wander the earth is straining him to his limits. The souls that aren't taken care of eventually merge together to form physical manifestations of the Seven deadly sins, who have declared themselves the new gods of this world. The almighty creator is doing what he can, but he's not overly concerned about the state of the world."

Man just an amazing job on getting across how worn, shellshocked, and close to breaking Grim is, with just his eyes. You can feel the emotion on the page. Meek there for our hero at his lowest, gotta love the death dodo. Though Ripa seems to be oblivious to Grim's condition and too busy making puns. Great job on book one, it has been a great read, can't wait to see where book 2 takes us.
