Description
I was trying to do an expressive self portrait by drawing blood from my hand into a fountain pen, but sadly I couldn't get my hand to bleed, so I had to Photoshop it...but if I did it badly I can't tell. Anyways...I feel that as human beings, every little thing that we own or create takes a little bit of us into it. So as artists we breath life into our work...and is blood not the ultimate symbol of life? I will try to get myself to bleed again later...but keep in mind...I'm crazy, but not a masochist.Related content

Ah, but isn't it a shame that a keyboard just doesn't have the same effect as writing with a fountain pen? It's quite a shame, since I like being able to edit and share at will. Why can't I have the best of both worlds?
