I will let the picture describe itself. Obviously I don't like the direction the Final Fantasy series is taking...it truly died when Square merged with Enix. Final Fantasy and Square games otherwise will never be as magical.In case you don't get the Nomura joke, all of his character designs lately for some reason seem to be coved in zippers, and I think it's kind of stupid...especially how Vivi's hat on KH2 had a zipper on it...jesus!

I played Final Fantasy 7 when I was about 8 years old, I almost cry everytime I think of it, the story was so gripping, the characters were awesome, and the story was... well, awesome, and somewhat believable for the future! I've never seen anything like it.
The newer Final Fantasys are just these weird beach-boy pretty boy characters with weird names like "Zieden" who embark on adventures in wooden pirate ship blimps in 17th century worlds with weapons like four-barreled crossbows. Makes no bloody sense, with no absolutee goal other than to run around in forests and jungles, fight stuff, acquire flying ship, fight some more, meet typical Japanese female star of the game named "Yurakai" or something, kiss / date scene, fight some more, then go underground and fight a big nasty boss!
