Description Oook, finally! This is a gift for a gaian friend... I really put some work to this.

Note: FULL VIEW, PLEASE!

As on the WIP (located in my scraps), I mentioned I used some new techniques: wax from a white candle on the hair to make some highlights, watercolor pencils, watercolors, some spray paint and inks. I also applied small drops of silver on his hair and on the background, and it doesn't look quite as nice as on the real picture. I am specially proud of this because it's been ages since I touched watercolors. Note: I used a reference from Shoujo Kakumei Utena (c) Chiho Saito and Be-Papas for the pose.

Maybe I'll add white over the silver later, so it looks as shiny as I intended to... All crits are appreciated!

wow the candlewax works really well, it looks glittery! great stuff! the colours go together perfectly! I love them!

I can't critique this, this is gorgeous! The watercolors worked very well and the wax from the candle looks so natural for the highlights. I'd never heard of that technique before, what a good idea. I like that even though you can see all these new techniques and materials in this picture you can still also see your beautiful linework.

¡Uaaa! *-* No te ha podido quedar más sexy, el señor CHubas. Seguro se se cae de espaldas de la impresión en cuanto vea el dibujo. (Y seguro que el original es mucho más bonito, porque los escaners se suelen cargar las imágenes).

Sabes alguna forma en la que pueda lograr que el plateado se vea mas? Algo que le deba ajustar al scanner o una resolucion mas nitida? Aiish, no se. D:

El problema con el plateado es que es posible que el escáner no lo lea bien (hay cosas que el escáner no puede leer, como las hechas con rotuladores fluorescentes). En ese caso, no te queda más que olvidarte de que aparezca, o intentar hacer retoques a la imagen con el photoshop, a ver qué pasa.

Wala que pasada *_______* Es para Chubas, no? O si no para alguien exactamente igual que el XDDDD

Esta genialmente hecho, y la mezcla de tecnicas...no se, es impresionante. Yo no le meteria mas blanco en el pelo para los brillos, asi esta suficientemente brillante, muy muy guapo.


Por cierto, sobre que esta pintado? Sobre algun tipo de papel con mucha textura o sobre tela?

^_^ Si, es para CHubas. Me moria por regalarle algo, ha sido tan lindo conmigo siempre consiguiendome regalitos y retratandome con el, aawww...

Tu crees que el blanco no se veria bien?? Arrggh! Me gustaria que lo vieras en real, se ve casi nevado el pelo, tiene un efecto que me gusta pero que no capturo el scanner. Y esta hecho sobre un papel con mucha textura, no se que marca ni que grano, porque me lo regalaron. xD gracias por el comentario!

De nada *__* Seguro que el original es una maravilla, y lo del papel lo preguntaba por eso, porque tiene una verjura tan bonita *0* Le da un toque precioso al dibujo el hecho de que tenga tantisima textura, ademas, para tecnicas humedas como la acuarela y asi que has usado, es mucho mejor n_n

^^ graacias! las motitas de plateado se alcanzan a ver nomas un poco, jeje. Creo que la textura le da un efecto mas interesante, si no tuviera eso, quizas se miraria soso, porque de por si no tiene muchos detalles.
