This is a picture of Severian riding a destrier that I drew in less than ten minutes.

It was for a card for Gene Wolfe, who is an awesome science fiction writer that I love. I drew it at the last second as we were preparing to go to the train station to head over to his house in Barrington, IL and visit with him and his wife for dinner.

I am way embarrassed about how geeky this card is, guys, but also still way excited about getting to meet him. He was exceptionally awesome, and is definitely one of my heroes.
