First colored design of Tyrexia Caliph and her courageous crew. I wrote the play (which I'm cannibalizing for a script for a comic) in February, and have been fiddling with possible designs for these three since early April. I definitely like Tyrexia and Alurry as they are (coloring is totally in the air, but I mean the lineart). Perrine felt to me like she ought to have pixie hair, but I don't think the flippy hair here represents that well, so I'll probably need to play around a bit more.

Their outfits were originally a bit more homogenized, and then I decided to try to let them each have kind of their own thing with the pants sort of unifying them so they look like a crew from the same ship.

Tyrexia is the third captain of the BlackCastle, chosen by Captain Awesome herself to succeed her successor, Captain Belthezastra. Perrine is the navigator on Tyrexia's vessel, and Alurry is her oldest friend and trustiest ally. That's supposed to be a sword she's holding but since it's sort of a rapier and I picked a terrible angle, it looks pretty awkward.
