Locks of raven hair was smooth against my fingers, tickling my thigh as I brushed through them. All I can think of is pressing my lips against his. No, that wouldn't be very appropriate... and even if I did, what if he woke up? What if he pushed me away? Yes, he has been with... many (I suppose I'll come to terms with that someday), but that doesn't mean he would want me.

The weight of his head was familiar, comfortable, lying on my lap. It must've been five days now, this week alone. Surely he would find some solace in it, otherwise why would he bother? My lips formed a thin line as I try resisting my urges to act irrationally. I reached for his hand, intertwining our fingers. He wouldn't notice. I'm going for it. And with that, I closed my eyes, and leaned in, aiming for his forehead.

"What are you doing?" his voice called out. I fumbled away, kneeing his head in the process.

"I-- UH-- did I do something, wow I must've f-fallen asleep, I guess?" I stretch and yawn, feeling the blush creep to my face.

"Sure, Sparks." Lucien sat up, turning to face me. "You wouldn't try something stupid like hold my hand, or--" he said, inching closer, "--try to kiss me, right?" My face burned. His smirking didn't help, either. And neither did his hand, coming closer to reach my face! B-but does that mean...?

"You're cute." He flicked my nose. Bastard. "Unfortunately, my shift is coming up, so maybe I'll catch you around another time, mm?" And with that, he stood, took his jacket, and left with a wink.
