i like the idea..the pose and the..ahm..outfit..lol. Very original.
But i would have waited for a different light. The way that you can capture the sunlight would have made this picture come to life.
Maybe you could do it again mone day..but then with the sun coming from behind as a backlight. Turning the model..indeed...in a faun.

You are right..when you would do that it would become a trick. You are right in pointing that out to me.
..For me the mystic came true in your picture... But not the dark. Actually the background spoils it fot me then. It.s to light and well *normal*. so i.m missing it there.
Maybe if that would have been darker in general..and a odd or creepy shaped tree there.
I say this with a lot of respect for your skills. I would never be able to make a picture like that. And in no way do i consider what i just said to be the *truth*. Or that you *must* do what i said.
It are just the thoughts that came up while reading your reaction and seeing the picture again.

i just noticed something. I was watching the picture on a smaller screen this time. The top part of the picture was now conceiled. about 1 cm above the top branch visible. the rest not. And for me that changed the feel of the picture already.
I could now see more the picture you wanted to make. A nd i have to say..the foreground is very well choosen.

the hard here is to make the model the most lited part of the picture because of the white bokeh, if make it darker it will look strange. So there are some complications. But I like the line going to the right up corner, may be it can make some optimistic notes in all these crazy fear))))
