To be honest, I headcanon any child of Cam's knowing all about flowers before they could even properly talk (be it observing flowers, reading books to and talking about flowers nontstop to said child, singing songs about flowers, showing child how to properly sow flower seeds, or put a plant too big for a current pot into a new pot; it wouldn't surprise me if a first word was 'flower') -- Lotte's definitely not an exception (though maybe not Alphonse; I don't see him taking a huge interest in horticulture for some reason). She knew how to craft flower crowns from a young age (in which Cam was rather elated to the point of tears but Porom, clearly jealous, like, "it'd be nice if she kept her room clean in the same, meticulous way of keeping the flowers together :T"), so makes sense.

(Also, no worries! I keep changing her hair color myself, so it's all good. )
