Yaay, my first Dragon Quest fanart. I've been playing some of the games for the first time recently and I love them. I'm playing DQV and DQIX atm.

So I drew Rufin and Eliza from Dragon Quest IX! (They're called Dr. Phlegming and Catarrhina in English, but I kinda prefer their Japanese names.) I think they're the most interesting characters in DQIX for me so far.

...What do you mean Eliza died? You probably played the game wrong if she died in your save file... ;__; *in denial...xD*

The pose is reference from a scene from the 1918 film "The Cook".
