While I like your style, this honestly doesn't look like a meerkat or any civet in general. It looks more like some sort of canine. Judging from your art style, you've got potentiol though. So I suggest you spend more time studying meerkat anatomy and biology.

I started off of them being as meerkats,but as my style changed I realized myself that they look like a completely different species.But since I'm too lazy to think of a name for it I just stick with the meerkats instead.
