I do have the Bhagavad Gita, and I am somewhat familiar with the Ramayan (I found illustrated pamphlets in an Indian grocery store---they are like graphic mini-books for children). I bought a few of the series for I love the stories and art.
I am not Hindu by ancestry, but I do revere Hinduism and Sikhism greatly, that is why I find a unique closeness to Shiva...it is unexplainable. I am theist by belief, my symbol of belief is the OM.

This is THE most beautifully rendered illustration of Helios/Sol Sun god I have EVER seen! BRAVO! There are times I just gaze at it and feel the energy of it. I projected it on a large screen in my classroom as a representative of Helios/Sol and my students experience mixed emotions, the majority feel awe. Would you consider illustrating another Greek/Roman god, preferably Ares/Mars?
