eeeewwwww... creepy floating red hood! Run!Believe it or not I did most of this in art.... ( I know! how odd of me!)
Graphite and colour pencil..... one of my first colour pencil drawings too,
well "first" good one anyway....
I worked more on it but I don't feel like rescanning.....
Meh.....

I would like to see this on black paper with only the color and highlights showing. That would be very dramatic. I like the overall shape of the cloak, but some of your shading is a little strange. That might have been what nightcity might have meant, although he was quite rude and inarticulate about it. Try hanging a cloak or bedspread in a similar manner to the picture and note where and what shape the shadows are.
I esspecially like the ragged bottom edge on the cloak.

And thanx for the idea about the bedspread.... now that you mention it being on black paper I'm thinking about doing a pastel drawing of this for class....

Pst.... There is only one texture... but then again.... I wouldn't know.... I'm just the guy who drew it.... not to mention that I entered the honors art program my freshman year in high school.... but yeah, I'm still just a kid.... just letting you know....
