So, first of all, this is a big thank you to Calladre , who got me through some rough times at school and at home by roleplaying (not to mention your humor!) Since I messed up the #Drev ship, I'll give it a proper farewell! Second of all, this story is going to contain some dark themes, a lot darker than my normal writing! If you cannot handle murder, scenes of intense action, or is just a precious and delicate person over all (no offense) I suggest you do not read this!

The cavern was massive, with shadows concealing the exterior walls. The acoustics made Devadas think the cavern was at least twice as big as he could see. In the dark, pillars loomed around a raised precipice of rock. A circle of carved stone figures held chains in their hands. The chains led to a figure, bloodied and beaten at the center of the rock. Devadas gasped, "Kira?" He ran forward, kneeling down in front of the girl. "Kira, can you hear me?" She was unconscious, blood trickling down her face and onto the floor. Devadas was about to touch her face to try and wake her up when he heard an eerie laughing throughout the cavern. He stood up and glared his eyes into the darkness "Who's there?!" He drew a dagger and gripped it in his hands. A voice echoed througout the cavern.
"Oh, Devy, you came! I'm so happy!" Devadas narrowed his eyes at the figure stepping into the light. Her purple hair fell to her shoulders, her yellow piercing eyes glinting with madness. She smiled wickedly. "I never meant to call you out. I've always seen behind your smoke and mirrors." She smiled, stepping forward and touching Devadas' shoulder. "Oh, Devy. I'm so close to finishing this! Soon, we can be together forever!" She grazes her hand across Devadas' face and walks towards Kira. Dev growls and runs forward.
"Don't touch her!" Dev yells. Drai didn't flinch, instead, flicking her hand and freezing Devadas in place.
"Oh sweetheart, please dont yell at me, it isn't really hard to see the truth that's rotting underneath!" Drai strolled up to Kira and kneeled down, holding a knife gently against Kira's throat. She glared at Dev "Why weren't you honest from the start? You know, I've always thought she must've liked you." Drai smiled, patting Kira on the head, giggling. "She's just a temptress, don't you know? She'll say she loves you, even though she only wants to steal your soul!" Drai grins and unfreezes Dev. "I'll save you."
Dev was in a panic. He took a deep breath and stepped back. "Listen, Drai, I-I know that you think that me and Kira have been together, but we are not! I swear! Please, just let her go and we can talk to this!" Drai frowned and stood up, taking a step towards Dev.
"Oh Devy... You said you'd always be my friend. That we'd get married when we both got older." She smiled and dissapeared, reappearing behind Devadas. She wrapped her hands around him and grinned. "I'd never heard those words before, you made me long for something more, but then she tried to steal your love!" Drai frowned, stomping her foot and glaring at Dev. Dev growled again and frowned at Drai. Drai giggled. "What's with that look? Do you really think I'm out of line tonight?" Dev cried and called out Kira's name. "Stop calling her name! If you play my game, she may just make it out alive!" Drai kisses Dev on the lips. "I love you."
Dev didn't react. He just looked at Kira and reached his hand out. Drai growled and glared at Dev, raising her voice till she is almost screaming. "I'm not asking for much, just give me your heart and put noone else above me! Go on! Just say you love me!" She weaved her fingers thorough Dev's. "Take my hand in yours, and tell me that I'll always be the one!" A crazed look glinted in her eyes. "Without you my life means nothing! So just say you love me tonight!" She grinned and teleported to Kira, wrapping her arm around her head. "And if you lie, this poor girl will have to die..." Drai laughs and flicked her hand, tossing Dev backwards against the wall. She realized what she had done and gasped. Her demeanor changing completely. Her voiced sweetened.
"Im sorry that I lost my cool. As you can see here, I've been very busy." She smiled and held up Dev's cell phone. "I found her number in your phone, asked her to meet me here alone, so we could, talk, just one on one!" Drai giggled at Dev's look of rage. "What's with that look? Do you really think I'm taking this too far?" She smiled, her expression dripping with venom. "Boy, all you have to do is swear that you'll be true, and I will let her go right now~!" Drai frowns, pointing the knife at Dev before teleporting to Kira, holding the knife tightly against her throat. "Just don't lie!" She grinned wickedly.
Dev sobbed "Please! I-I love you! Just please, let her go!" Drai perked up at hearing Dev say these words.
"Really?! That's great! I love you too! Let's get married! Tonight! No! Right now!" She smiled crazily.
Dev sniffed "B-but, r-right now...? I-I... I c-can't..." Drai frowned.
"You cant? You weren't lying to me were you? She teleported to Kira again, the blade pressed against her throat. Dev cried out.
"No! Please! I wasn't lying! Please don't kill her! Please!" Drai frowned and pressed the blade tighter. A thin trickle of blood came from Kira's throat and she woke up, screaming.
"You were lying! How could you?!" Drai growled and stabbed the blade into Kira's throat, pulling the knife out, ripping the flesh, muscles, and skin. Scarlet red blood gushed from her throat. Kira's head slumped back down, the life leaving her eyes. Dev cried out and growled in rage. He stood up and ran at Drai, dagger in hand. Drai frowns and dodged the attack. "No, I won't fall for this again. I've always seen behind your smoke and mirrors." She pulled out a golden pocket watch and swung it at Dev, the force of the impact knocking him backwards. "I know you love me deep inside, you're simply caught up in her lie, so I will cut you free myself!" She stepped forward and leaned over Dev, grinning wickedly "I'm not asking much, just give me your heart and put no one else above me. Please, just say you love me!" She knelt down and grabbed Dev's hand, almost breaking his bones. "Take my hands in yours and tell me that I'll always be the one! Without you my life means nothing! So just say you love me!"
Dev groaned in pain "Please, please, stop it! I'm sorry! I-I love you, just don't hurt me!"
Drai growled and grabbed Dev by the chin, bringing him close to her face "C'mon, what the problem?! Quit your crying, be a man! Surely, she couldn't mean that much! Let me give you my love!" She grinned, gesturing at Kira's body. She wrapped her other hand around Dev's waist, pulling him to his feet. "Take my soul, my heart and body! Yes, I give it all to you! And if you don't accept it, You're gonna regret it!" Her voice softened and she leaned in close to Dev. "I hate to play these game, but you're driving me insane. Won't you tell me that you'll stay, now that she's not in the way?!" She grinned. Dev growled, tears running down his face.
"Go to hell! I don't care anymore!" Drai grazed her hand against his face.
"Oh Devy, you can't deny it forever. I love you, and you love me!" She pulled him in and kissed him softly. His eyes rolled back into his head and he went limp in Drai's arms. She gently set him down on the floor and kissed his forehead. "I'll be seeing you soon, Devy~" She giggled and vanished into thin air.
