A quick glance at my favourites would confirm that I am somewhat of a Miss Marvel and Carol Danvers fan.
Back in the 70's, Miss Marvel's was the first heroine comic I read. As a kid I was hooked, and as I grew up I continued to like the character.
Carol was nuanced, courageous and flawed, having to face her own demons as well as the usual enemies.

Miss Marvel was one of the first big superheroines I read about when I was first reading Avengers.Β Even when she was in a dark place, you wanted to root for her to find her way back.Β She's def in my top 5 greatest superheroines of all time.
