Description
My original character.He was a heavenly angel, who was too proud of his power and he punished people beyond measure, because of that he fell. Then he repented, and went a long way getting back to God. He appeared in the human body on Earth (in Byzantium) to restore his heavenly status.
In the artwork I used samples of Assyrian jewelry. Everything else is original, all coincidences are accident
The name Algol derives from Arabic raʾs al-ghūl: head (raʾs) of the ogre (al-ghūl) (see "ghoul"). Algol, a star system, known colloquially as the Demon Star, is a bright multiple star in the constellation of Perseus.

Great piece. Love the style and the fact that you branded him as a he even though he comes to earth in the form of a woman. even though most religions are patriarchal in nature I do believe this is just a reaction from males in order to devalue the import of females and nature. I think deep down the most beautiful woman is going to garner more attention from the world compared to the most "insightful" of male prophets even if it's begrudgingly so. Love how the name is actually a derivative of an existing language too, shows a lot of forethought.

Thanks! But my Algol character is not a woman, and he does not have a womanly appearance. He is an angel who came to earth as a man who became a eunuch. He has an androgynous appearance, because he retained his angelic beauty.
