Description
"Loneliness"I made it after I was inspired by Salvador Dali paintings. Actually I was familiar with his style since I was a kid.

As a kid, Salvador Dali's paintings used to scare me. I remember being scared of those images that I couldn't yet understand, but as I became older, it grew on me and I became more and more found of the Surrealism movement. I always made a funny connection between UCP's Dali and the artist's name (Why do all my talks end up with J-Rock? *sigh*) for the surrealist nature of the band's PVs, especially downer.
Anyway, I like your painting very much, the use of mainly cold colours, the very pale yellow to green and black make it indeed feel very lonely and distant. The figure looks like it's ascending to sky as if it's a spirit of a dead person.
Seeing this while listening to γ«γγγ¦γΏ by el-Ethnic Legist- just gave it a whole new level of feeling to it. I can almost see it moving.

His paintings, indeed kind of creepy. However I found his world attractive, in a some way.

I only got to love it when I was older, I discovered it when I was about 4 or 5 and only "understood" when I was about 14. It's a bit that feeling that you get when you play Silent Hill>/i>. You love it, you're curious about it, but you're scared of what you'll find out.
