ummm.... well I use SAI

maybe if you look above your layers you can see somewhere standing normal. if you click on it you can see options as shade or luminosity and then you choose which option you want.

but then again... I use SAI so I don't really know the program. so I gues you must ask someone else or look at tutorials on youtube

I don't have options like that with layers, but I have many more options with tools, so...

And I wanted something like tips "How to not fuck up shading" more than "how to make it in your program", so...

well, you take a new layer, take the original colour of the dragon, then you darker that colour as much as you like and you draw over the original drawing on the places you want it to be (ofcours you do have to draw the shade in the new layer) and then you can leave it the way it is or you can smooth is out a bit or totally

so you can make the shade hard or soft.

GIMP have tool that softly/roughly shades things as much as you want, so... I don't need colors, just my imagination I guess...

although I still feel like crap

and if you mean what I talked with you about in the notes.. then no, I did not yet talked to him.
I have a examweek so I was to busy with studying and I did not see him this week cause we have different hours.

and once I've got my new mobile, I will talk to him cause then I've also got watsapp and I think that's usefuller instead of calling him all the time + calling cost us money
