Description
In the year 2050, the world has changed. The human race has extended its hand to universe, and Earth has become a haven for many species. And with Earth much more accessible, new threats have come to the planet, with aims on conquering, destroying or simply causing chaos. And with these threats ever looming, heroes stand tall to protect their home, regardless of whether they were humans born there or alien colonists wish to make a life for them.

Enter Charlie Walters. A student studying journalism at Bludhaven University, Charlie had a fond interest in superheroes and their place in the present day world, and has been producing many a piece, taking her from Gotham to Metropolis to Detroit, learning about heroes of all shapes and forms. Charlie then decided to look into a hero of her hometown, Nightwing, who had been vanished after a confrontation with one of his foes, The Raptor.

After investigating, Charlie met the demoralised Dick Grayson, who had in fact lost one of his legs during his fight with Raptor, and had retired from hero work. Having lost his classic more upbeat tone, Dick had lost faith in Bludhaven wanting to be saved. Finding his suit, Charlie decided that someone had to protect her city. After nearly killing herself in a fight with an mechanical alien known as “Flywheel”, a chance encounter with the heroes Batman and Flamepipe helped set herself to become a real. Now she trains with Flamepipe to defend Bludhaven herself, receiving mysterious tech donations from some unnamed person at Wayne-Queen Joint Enterprises, aiding her in her crusade.
