The second page of the lines from done by the talented Koi Turnbull.This looked to be a faster sketch compared to the spidey splash I did yesterday...I wasn't feeling it as much...
Crowquill tonight...3 hours.

Did you take a class for inking or...well did you just develop a feel for it yourself? Your inks are really tight and look really cool. I never seem to really get a good feel for what I am inking, I figure it's just my lack of exp...[link] that's a drawing of mine I inked, it's a bad scan but that's pretty much where I am at. Thanks for posting this though as it's really awesome.

Hey Nick, thanks for the comment and fave! I appreciate it. Your ink is pretty good too! Defining a light source is the start.
I first started inking mid 2008, took a year off, and have now been serious with it since April this year. I had no idea what I was doing! I had picked up 's book, 'The art of comic book inking' and looked at what the pro's were doing with their inks and just kept practicing. Almost every day I would attempt to ink something. Not very often could I finish a piece, because I really didn't know what I was doing; whereas now I feel like I can pull thru something with out too much trouble. I am by no means a pro at this! I'm still learning and still inking as much and as often as I can. It's about practice and experience, that's the only way to get better at anything. Also choosing super cool and well defined lines to ink over helps
