Description
Ah...welcome home devgear! Just got back from Philippines a few days ago. Extremely jetlagged so to speak! My girls are back home again, so free time is limited....but did manage a start on these great lines by Mike.Feeling a bit rusty from my time off...took a break for 15 minutes and came back to discover my coffee cup got knocked over!
I guess I'll have to change my inking location now that my three monkeys are home, lol!
Anyhow...just practise. Hope to get some art up soon. Cheers!

I made that mistake once, but with Mountain Dew, in a design course. Thankfully only over some sketches. I would have sobbed if it had happened to an assignment. I had to do those with Rapidiographs on cold press illustration board, and with all the time crunching you had to use a hair dryer to speed up the ink dries... Like I said, thankfully only on some preliminaries, and after that the rule was no beverages on the table with the homework unless it had a screw-on lid. Cups had to be put on a counter or the end table, or woe to the one who broke my rule. Every once in awhile these things have to happen to remind us to be careful. All you can hope for is that it isn't on something important. you could always stain the whole thing coffee when it's done and make it an effect.

It's a dangerous combination for sure! My girls have been away from home the past year, so could ink wherever I pleased. This was my first ink since we got back home and this happens...too funny!

O. M. G. I hate it, when this happen.
Reason too, why im only ink digital or jus drink water while working. I know, i know, it's to late for such "helpful" comments.
Im very sorry about that!

Welcome back sir! Can't wait to see more inks from ya!
On a related note my Crisis on Infinite Cybertrons piece is 2ft by 5ft. My son spilled a code red mountain few on one side if it. This was 8 months in on the drawing. Scared the crap outta me. Thankfully the strathmore board was real smooth and not absorbent lol so I hear ya on the younguns adding their mark to your inks
