I posted this on my FB yesterday...just thought I would share it here as well.I hadΒ some cover art I was inking for Zenescope last night....quite a lot of black in the background. I lined in the details and gave my daughter (she is 10)Β the job of filling in the blacks. She was extremely nervous, because she knew this was going to be a published piece....but I put my trust in her and let her work on it for awhile. She did great
It's great seeing your children wanting to be involved and being inspired from what you do.

I hear you on that when including the kids on something. My son enjoys watching me ink or color in Photoshop but he can only take in chunks and then gets bored and has to do something else. Have to wait and see what your daughter is going to do in the future. Good luck with everything.

All my girls have been trying to ink a bit...nothing seriously, as you mentioned...they don't have the patience to stay on it too long. But, that will come in time I hope

Awesome. My girl is 9 and she wants me to start showing her how to draw "manga". LOL! Can't wait to show her how to draw "comics".

Yep, she did a great job! A couple of specks of white here and there but nothing that causes any problems and can't be filled in with a dab of brush in Photoshop.
