I had inked this one about 8 months ago....I wanted to re-visit it and see how I approach my inking now.Ken Rocafort made the spectacular pencils. I inked this with a .3 Staedtler pen and brush.
Here is the first attempt using crowquill
I was too shy with the previous one to include a hi res version...

So, did you feel any different? It looks as if you used short controlled lines for each stroke.

Much different. More clean and controlled lines for sure. First one was like 20 min, this go around was about 2 hours. That's what I am finding; I'm slowing down and taking more care with creating a better product!

I like how the line work appears lighter on this one. with more varied hatching.
preticularly the diaphragm is lighter, and less of a harsh separation.

I picked up the Cyberforce Hunter-Killer crossover and a couple Velocity books 2 weeks ago. Amazing stuff! His style is so unique...I guess that's why I've been compelled to work on it so much.
