Description Brian made the spectacular pencils of the Baroness!

Looking sassy with her BFG, I'm assuming there are a dozen destroyed Joe's laying in front of her!

Brian felt another collab was due; I specified Her and he drew!
About 4 hours tonight .3 Staedtler and brush. I"m not a big fan of halo's, and being that this specific character has dark hair and wears black latex, and also is put on a black background, there seemed not much choice.... I played on the highlights to seperate her from the black background instead of a continuos halo...I hope it worked!
Thanks Brian for the awesome pencils, hope you like the result

Download for 300dpi *Please read my terms of use* Thanks for looking!

tbh it's amazing. You know some inkers make stuff look worse, some just copies the pencil lines, and some give it extra punch. Yours is definitely in the last category!!

Thank you! I'm digging yours tooβ€”it's neat to see the similarities in how we read the design and inking and the differences in approach we took. Very cool!

I'm game for taking the color on. Do you have any notes/particulars you want to see?

labguyinwa In reply to avisciciulli [2011-08-14 15:21:20 +0000 UTC]

I think a cut n paste Cobra symbol for her belt. I actually never intended to post a half completed Cobra, but the sketch gained speed quickly and I never finished it. I will finish it when I ink her for myself, but thats the only thing. I would go 100% free creative license (do what you want) just drop the creds on the original lines.

Very good, I'll add the cobra logo. I was wondering about that!

Most of my recent work is done with a micron style pen...the Staedtler Pens. So, whatever they have in them

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

raMbo1911 In reply to devgear [2011-08-22 07:42:25 +0000 UTC]

cool yeah i use the pigma micron's, and now i have a rotring rapidograph .2 which is fun to use but its only like for details because the microns are more dynamic
