Ok...whew...finally got this one done!
A 2 page spread from Velocity pencilled by Kenneth Rocafort. While I was inking this, I was completely amazed by this guy's attention to detail and fantastic skills. Wow.
I didn't have too much trouble, just fighting the burnout that comes from working on such a dynamic piece and not enough time this past week. It's got it's flaws and errors on my part, but overall, pretty happy to have jumped into it and managed to finish

I'm going to rescan this and re-post a better aligned version, right now it's 4 seperate scans stitched together, and it's not working 100%...

Yeah I recently realized how much I love rocafort. Before I thought he was awesome (didn't know who he was but kind of recognized his style). Then I looked at his stuff more in detail and realized all his lines have a purpose and aren't just whimsical sketches or lines he puts out there. So much detail in his work it's crazy. I can't even imagine trying to ink something like this, congrats.

Ben a fan of this series for a whole, buut this is awesome art! How long did it take you to get an idea of this? Did you make a lot of thumbnails before u found this one hiding at the bottom of the pot?

Ken Rocafort drew the original pencils to this....I just inked his great lines

Well a great pencil drawing can be ruined if done by a bad inker.

I would push your lineweights thicker in the foreground to make it "read" a little easier. Other than that great work- lots of effort on this piece.

linewheight is also something i struggle allot, i kind of like it like this though cause one of the problems i see with thicker line weights is that i can often ruin a piece by making it look very cartonny and somewhat artificial!

I completely agree. I'm trying to find that line that still does the job of seperating all the elements without going overboard.
