Description
This is a clip from my final project in my Animation Production 1 class. The quality of the clip isn't great bc I couldn't figure out how to best upload it, but you get the idea of what it looks like.Related content

Mhm!, What program(s) did you use if I may ask? I always been interested in making
animations but never had the right tools so they didnt look proper so I might aswell
ask you for suggestions ^-^
Curious on how long it took you to make this whole project. The ones I've made were
only about 3-ish days long. But yours, I assume so much longer and probably
required alot of patience!

Of course!
The program that I used to create this animation was Photoshop CC. It's a good program for creating stylized animations and I like the aesthetic that can be achieved with it, although the animating process itself takes forever b/c it wasn't really designed to be a great animation program. All in all, this segment probably took me like 10 hours total to line and color. It definitely requires a lot of patience, but as long as you break up the project into healthy work segments it doesn't feel too overwhelming.
Most of the time I actually animate in Adobe Animate because the workspace is much easier to use, but for this project I used Photoshop because I wanted to achieve a certain final look.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to me. I appreciate it!
Honestly, I never knew Photoshop could be used for that. I've tried
Photoshop once but so many tools to figure out how they work XD
Though Adobe Animate.. hm.. Never tried before but I shall look
into it then!
I have tried Windows Movie Maker for the animations ive done
which allowed me to time each frame much as I want
but it makes it a bit harder to figure out how far i want to move
the poses so i get the right speed while others are staying at a
different pace. For art, Ive used PaintToolSAI and Fire Alpaca.

Of course! I'm still very much a beginner but I'm always happy to give any advice that I can
Lol Photoshop is definitely a confusing monster to overcome, most of what I learned was from watching speedpaints and tutorials on youtube plus stumbling through the program and trying to figure things out on my own xD
For animating programs I think the best ones out there are probably ToonBoom and TVPaint (based upon what I've heard and also seeing the finished projects that can be achieved with those programs), I've dabbled in TVPaint a little bit but not too much b/c the programs that I have easily available to me are the Adobe products (Photoshop and Animate) lol
