Here's my take on Snow White and the seven dwarves. I decided to take a bit more of a narrative approach to this one. Let me know what you think!Related content

It has a nice antiqued look to it. It'd look good postersized & framed with you Wonderland one in the same room.
Another thing I liek about both of them is the sky. Huge fan of fogscapes or anything that remotely looks like one.

I'm glad you like it. I actually have Alice framed in my living room. I keep meaning to get a print of my Snow White, but I just haven't yet... too busy with school and stuff. I'm actually in the process of working on another one in this series, but haven't done anything on it in a long time... I hate it when crap you HAVE to do interferes with crap you WANT to do.

Process question: The Alice piece you did before was done as individual characters. This one looks like it was done as one piece?

Yup. I wanted to try one from beginning to end. The actual piece is about 16x22.
I'm working on another piece right now and I'm probably going to do it as individual characters again. Photoshop is much more forgiving.

Oh I just thought of some critique. Have you thought about letting things run off the page such as the tree branches? I was just thinking it looks really contained, which gives it that portrait-look like your alice. It might add to the narrative/excitment to have some subject matter uncontained. I was just looking at the smaller version and noticed that the branches are all about the same distance from the edge, so it looks really planned and doesn't have the same feel of the rest of the piece.

That's a good point. When I was drawing it, I couldn't really remember how I did Alice. Also, unlike Alice, I did this all as one piece. I'll have to play with it a bit in Photoshop and see what happens. Thanks, Michelle!!

Your queens are always so hott! and I think the narrative technique is a very good idea. Your alice is wonderful, but this is much more exciting to look at.
