“Fire. A combustion in the air; a source of light and heat. Fire has existed since the dawn of all living things. A saviour to some, a danger to others. To me, it is both.Ignition isn’t difficult.
I take a similar approach to the way your nose breathes in and also breathes out. Fingers have the most thermoreceptors in the human body, along with the nose and the elbow. These receptors are used to measure the difference in temperature, allowing the human body to react quickly to extreme heat or cold to protect itself.
I manipulate these receptors to generate heat. By concentrating my spiritual energy (also known as "mana”) to the desired nerve endings, I can control the temperature of the surrounding air to the point of combustion.
The flames light up at the tip of my index finger. It hurts; I feel the heat like an ordinary human would, but my skin is immune to burn. There is a tingling sensation as the mana absorbs itself into my veins and flows into my hand in harmonious heartbeats.“ - D
