Sorry bout all the WIP sketches, but i'll make this the last one for quite awhile.Still searching out the body proportions i'd like to dawn my Felicia depictions from darkstalkers.
I wanted her breasts to be very large but still have the hips be able to stand out...this chick is THICK.
I know the head is small but i always change it up later. arms too to match the body.
Hopefully build like this can have a good turn out and come to match what i see in my imagination, as cosely as i can push it to.

How much pressure do you apply to her abdomen and hips when you draw a female figure?

I was actually placing down more lines rather then pushing harder. Kinda hunting for the right shape xp.

I see. Do you follow the fruit concept of women's breasts? As apples, grape fruits, and melons when drawing?

I never thought of it like that lol.
My advise is study like real life pictures, and then apply imagination to exaggerate and push the form.
It's like learning the rules of the female form when you draw, you learn accuracy of anatomy and such...
once you learn those rules...you then try breaking them.
Push the shape here in there, give it a sort of hyper realism. Thats the idea. I can be very tricky when you try to push forms to scale with everything else. Practice practice practice.
