I agree with everyone else.. it's pretty awesome. good job. I really like the airbrushing.. do you think you could tell me how you do that kind of stuff? I've been trying to figure it out for weeks.. I think I might be getting there tho. Only complaint about this peice is that I personally think the grainy pattern on the tentacles is a bit distracting...

The grainy pattern is due because of the raytraced reflections upon the render material. My origional idea was to have the reflections very bright and under colour dodge mode to really emphasise the brightness of the light escaping, but for somereason i couldnt seperate the reflections and the actual object properly without getting very jagged edges, so I left it how it is.
