I don't like airplanes myself... xD What was it like during the takeoff? I always feel weird right when the airplane gets off the ground; is it like that with helicopters?

Nope! Take off is smooth sailing. Just straight up and off you go. I love flying so none of it bothers me whether its in planes or helos. I love them both but helos are for more practical for my line of work. The are absolutely necessary in fact! It's awesome.
