I love the lighting and the effects! The willow looks old, but nice in that shot. The colors are calming and soothing to the eyes.

I love the way that you were able to capture sharp detail on the ripples in the water.

It seems like some buildings can be seen in the background. That part looks a bit overexposed, but the rest of the shot is really beautiful!

Thank you for the comment!
I thought that's the best way i could go with this shot

For the details on the water i used a polarizing lens filter and "exagerated" a little it came out with a very nice sharp.

The buldings were just part of the background and i tried making them less important. Correct, overexposed. That's is the way it was meant to be.

Ah, I see. Well, I only have a point-and-shoot camera.

Oh, that's nice. I'm fine with overexposed elements in the background, just not for the subject.

Exactly. I'm trying to save up for a DSLR.

Your 2 best choices are Canon and Nikon... There's a bit argument who is better between the 2 so it's better you test similar cameras if you're not certain what to buy. Don't jump into things... You might like Canon or Nikon...

Thanks for the tip. I actually test my classmates' DSLRs sometimes, and I make my judgments from the quality of the shots taken with each camera.

Check processing time, burst speed, iso, functions, etc. Best check everything possible. The things is that with different lenses you may get different sharpnesses.

Yep, I'll check those next time I test a camera.

I heard of that, but it's difficult to choose lenses.

Agreed. Though the best lenses are the L Lenses (Luxury Class). They've got a special lens treatement.

I heard that those are REALLY expensive. Probably means I'll have to work harder this summer.

Thanks, I'll note that!
