Anywhere with a Canal though, makes a place beautiful.

I was disappointed tbh. Nowhere near as big or varied as it was years ago.
I was going to go to have a nice walk along the Canal last weekend, but  couldn't get time off work.

Oh really?  That is sad!  My brother went several years ago and thought is was the greatest place on earth!  It's sad when things change like that!

There are plenty of other places that are great to go to, so in a way, it's not so sad.

I haven't been able to go for my walk along the Canal yet. Will do soon.
I'm having a weekend away soon, so I aim to have a lovely walk there when I get back.
